What is Tipster e-mail?
Tipster e-mail is not a reward program .   It is simply way for the community to provide information to Schertz law enforcement that can help combat crime and keep our streets safe.

Why Do We Need Tipster email?
Tipsters gives people the opportunity to provide information without directly speaking to police. Obviously investigators need witnesses to help prove their case in court, but most importantly they need information that allows them to zero in on a suspect or a criminal operation such as a drug trafficking network.

There is always someone who has information that can help solve crime.  Those are the people who can e-mail Tipster and provide information that will help investigators identify those responsible.

Tips to Tipsters does not give police evidence they require to arrest an individual but puts them on the right track to solve crime.

How can Tipster e-mail work?

It will be an effective crime fighting concept that helps solve crime and keeps our streets safe.  It will assist in putting police on the right track by identifying individuals who are responsible for committing crimes.  That is why your tip could be crucial.
