Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm

Citations

Individuals must appear within 14 calendar days following the date the citation was issued regardless of the judge’s availability. Telephone calls DO NOT constitute an appearance.

Citations for expired state inspection if the state inspection sticker has not been expired for more than 60 days may be dismissed for a $20.00 fee if proof of a valid inspection is presented to the court by the appearance date for the citation.

Citations for expired state registration may be dismissed for a $20.00 fee if proof of a renewed registration with the tax penalty paid at the tax agency is presented to the court within 10 business days from the date of the citation.

Citations for failure to maintain financial responsibility may be dismissed if proof of financial responsibility on the date of the citation is presented to the court.

Payment Options

The City of Schertz Municipal Court only accepts cash, money orders, cashier checks, and credit cards for the payment of fines and court costs. Online payments can now be made through the Internet. For any other questions or concerns please contact the court.
